@lawyer.oyer: When you pardon people without vetting them—based on politics and $$$ instead of merit—what you get is a whole lot more crime. Just this year, we’ve seen three of Trump’s first-term clemency recipients commit new crimes and squander their second chances. One serial fraudster, Eli Weinstein, is headed back to prison for 37 years. No doubt he’s already working on another pardon.
SCOTUS is protecting the worst con artist in american history....

The Republican controlled congress could end this but they choose not to. Mid terms are coming. Let’s show them what accountability looks like.

Assuming each of the crimes is a violation of both state and federal laws, could the state initiate prosecution on its own if it hasn’t done so yet, provided that the statute of limitations hasn’t expired?

How would you propose limiting the pardon power? Would it require an amendment?

it seems like we need to put in some kind of modification on the pardons I don't think they should be for political reasons or gain, in my mind they would be more altruistic

I wouldn’t count on MAGA reps to reign in the power of his pardons, seeing as they’ve openly admitted they’ll do whatever he says 😞
