his mom doesn't have to be number one....but he should still consider both feelings. lots of women turn their husband's against their mothers....its not right. There is nothing wrong with caring about your mother's feelings as well. your wife comes first but you should never disregard his mother's feelings. Karma will come around for everyone that has sons and they get older and get married, you will see how hard it really is the deal with both women in the man's life. It is hard. KARMA!

I had a stroke in May and was in the hospital for a week. My in-laws who live 6 hrs away and who I am in no contact with decided they needed to come be there for my husband. He chose to spend time with them instead of being there for me in a time of need.

they married us, left their father and mother as did we. we as women give up more when we mary then they do. we give up our family as they do, we give up our last name, we give up our body to him, we give up our body to bare children, we give up our mental and physical health in post partum and get taken advantage of. if they want to still please their mom and put her first then he can go mary her

We met in 2024, he brought his mom to move with him at the end of that year sine then we have been going everywhere with her… I like her but we don’t have space and can’t really do anything without feeling like teens, she has a room next to him… and she will be permanently living in his house that he bought last year even when we get married… she said my mom can cook and you cal help with some bills. Honestly I’m scared I will feel like a stranger and not be able to be me. I still live with my family but I have stayed overnight and I feel just awkward.
