@cascadiaclassic: Think you could handle it? 😵💫 The current Oscar Mayer Wienermobile is built on a heavy-duty truck chassis. It measures 27 feet long, 11 feet high, and 8 feet wide, weighing approximately 14,050 pounds. Powering the fiberglass hot dog is a 6.0-liter General Motors V8 engine, often the Vortec or L96 variant, which produces about 300 to 330 horsepower. This setup allows the vehicle to reach standard highway speeds. Inside, the cabin features six mustard and ketchup colored seats, a gull-wing door with a retractable step, and a blue sky ceiling. The floor is covered in mustard-splattered carpeting, and the dashboard is shaped like a hot dog. For entertainment, it is equipped with a sound system that plays the famous jingle and a storage area capable of holding 11,000 Wienerwhistles. There are currently six full-sized vehicles in the fleet. Each is driven by a duo of brand ambassadors known as Hotdoggers who manage the 32.1-gallon fuel tank during their cross-country tours. #customtruck #roadtrip #carsoftiktokcontest

Had a friend that was a Hotdogger in the late 80’s. Said it was grueling, but would do it again in a heartbeat. Also apparently very helpful in his career

Yeah, they make $36,000 a year that’s why you were chosen as well as it being an unusual job $36,000 for driving all over the country and free housing and I think hot dogs which makes sense but that doesn’t seem like a great dealI mean yeah that would be cool for about two weeks but to do it for an entire year

That’s weird. I met a wiener mobile before, and there was only one person and they have volunteers helping them from the crowd, as I remember, they were kind of disgruntled,
