They should have asked, it should have been on the consent form!!!!! It’s her fault not yours and you could put a claim in for that, that could potentially scar you. Please don’t pick them and use lots of barrier repair cream xx

My very first bikini wax I got 2nd degree burns all over down there. I kept crying out when the wax was applied, telling the lady it was really burning, but she just kept telling me, "Of course it hurts, it's supposed to! It's hot wax on your vag!!" She also went over the same spots more than once because she didn't get everything on the first pull - so she ripped a layer of skin off the first time, then put boiling wax on it again, and pulled. I was in tears, kept telling her it was too hot and burning my bits. She just got angrier every time I, "complained." I should have made her stop, but never having done it before, I figured this was normal (I mean, like she said, it was hot wax on an intimate area - I figured maybe I just had sensitive skin or was being a baby), but I didn't want to be half waxed, so I just toughed it out. I got home and my skin was already blistering, and there were still multiple patches of hair left in places. I called to complain and she said that was normal for a first waxing because my hair hadn't ever been waxed there before. It was my stupid fault for trusting a "professional." About 5 years later I got the courage to try again and checked TONS of reviews. I met with my waxer for a consult before going through with it. I showed her the pictures of what had happened the first time (worried it was my body having a reaction to the wax, or that what happened to me was normal like the first lady had told me), and she was absolutely horrified. She was so shocked I was willing to try again that she gave me half off lol. I still have some scarring in a couple of places from that hellish first visit.
