Everyone in the comments are probably people who have never seen trainspotting or don't believe the scenery in it was Edinburgh, Edinburgh's always been a huge massive scheme, arguably I think the schemes in Edinburgh r worse than Glasgow

Edinburgh has areas like this but they’re not the worst. People live here, love here, there’s community and family here. Take a walk around South Gyle on a Saturday. Ghost town. Empty offices. No humanity, maybe a fox if you’re lucky.

wrong - the city used to have high-rises but got rid of them all. I think it might even still have two or three. (a high-rise is a building above 8 floors)
