unfortunately, its not rage bait. its how companies that make cables fool new people into buying their stuff. only cables that I know of that actually effects the system as mich as she thinks is hdmi and display port cables.

i do have to agree to a point tho, most cables, it doesnt matter. but i used cheap AUX (3.5) cables in my car and they sounded awful. i bought a more expensive one and it objectively sounded better.

damn, these audio brands are so shameless with cables; they know exactly what theyre selling, and still do it bc many audiophiles fall for it. any decent 20 dollar cable (or stock cable) sounds the same as the ones that cost 1k+.

can i get a little help guys. i just bought ew300 and it sounds amazing when im listening music but when i play games it has this hiss or like static kind of sound in the back that just doesnt go away. it only happens when i open up a game, when i close the game or alt+tab it the sound fades away while making clicking noise. like it turns into clicking more than static and fades away to silence. please help. is my iem broken or am i doing something wrong?

Cable is a bare wire of electricity conducting material (mostly copper) that will give electricity a path to go from point to point. So I audiophile cable a scam, as the difference is SO LOW that there is practically 0 difference for any person.

Yes there is a difference between cables, no $1000 cables wont make the music stroke you. Different cable materials do matter, but you usually wont get further than S-TOFC. Just like crossovers more capacitence, resistance or inductance in the cable will affect the sound profile. Maybe not noticeable, but in car audio the price does make a difference
