My son’s dad and I did this for his mom one year. We threw out all of her mismatched Tupperware (she had so many containers missing a lid and so many lids that wouldn’t fit any of the containers plus sour cream containers, butter tubs, etc) so we bought her a huge Tupperware set, emptied her Tupperware cabinet, washed all the new Tupperware and put it away. MY MOM DID TS WITH VEGETABLE SHORTENING LMFAOOOOOO. we were movng homes in 2021 and i found 2 tubs of vegetable shortening that expired in 2007!! talking about "if we lose power we can make candles from it"😭

oof did this in 2019 and threw out meat from the freezer that had been in there since 2013. it had turned black and had freezer burn. i got screamed at and told to “never touch her shit again or i’ll regret it”.
