@alliecrown: Vulnerable post. I’ve been my grandmas caretaker for 5 years and it’s getting so hard to watch her slowly die and forget. Advanced Alzheimer’s is awful. I’m grateful she’s so sweet and happy all the time. But for me I’m hurting inside. I’m sleep deprived like crazy with her always thinking she has somewhere to go in the middle of the night I haven’t had a good nights sleep in months. She is 24/7 care. As she is a fall risk who try’s to constantly walk without her walker. I told her I would take care of her until the end but I can’t do it it much more it’s not fair to me or my kids who are stuck at home most the time since getting my grandma out of the house is too difficult. I did the application yesterday to get her into a home and looks like she will be going into a home Feb 15. I feel guilty to just abandon her but I just can’t take it. 😭

Честно, тяжело смотреть на это видео, потому что я понимаю что скоро испытаю те же самые чувства что и автор. Через время я увижу своего дедушку в таком же тяжелом состоянии. Болезнь прогрессирует. Он тяжело говорит, связывает слова в предложения и стал очень медленным, но помнит меня. Я тоскую по моему дедушке. Я не хочу верить в то, что теряю его. Желаю всем, кто столкнулся с этой болезью у близких сил.🫂
