@defenders_of_paws_rights: KEKE – SCHEDULED FOR EUTHANASIA TODAY DEC 18 @ 2PM 🚨 Keke is only two years old — still so young, still full of life — and today he is scheduled to die. An incredibly sweet Dutch Shepherd boy whose only crime is ending up in an overcapacity shelter at the wrong time. When I visited Keke, he immediately came forward, hopeful and gentle. He leaned in for attention, took treats softly, and watched me with kind, trusting eyes. There was no fear, no aggression — just a good dog who wanted connection, who wanted to be seen. The kind of dog people search years for, sitting quietly behind kennel doors with a clock ticking down his life. Keke is labeled “urgent medical” for a treatable kennel cough/URI and is already on medication. He is not suffering. He is simply running out of time. This is what overcrowding looks like — sweet, adoptable dogs being discarded because there is no space left. Please share Keke everywhere. Please let someone see him before it’s too late. He deserves so much more than this ending #doglovers
