The thing about these old riads is that they don’t have ways to deal with the humidity in December. It’s not just cold, but it’s damp. Living in Portugal I know that you can’t just turn on the heater and fix things you really do need a dehumidifier. I don’t know why more people in Morocco do not have dehumidifiers. It is one of the best ways to make a space cozy and they last for years, so it’s not a huge investment.

Wow, when I went to check in at my riad, I was informed that there’s no breakfast with my booking. I was so tired. All I wanted to do was go take a shower. I did not want to make yet another decision and I did not want to be pushed into buying yet Another thing that I think should come with $100 a night booking. I really hated Marrakech. I had high hopes. I spent way more than I wanted. Never again.
