A silk press includes a silk amino acid treatment. It’s optimizes hair porosity. There’s no way that this does the effect of that. I really don’t think people know what a silk press is.

I prefer the brush on my 4c hair BUT. After using the brush first and letting my hair rest for a day before going in with the steam press…. The results henny!!

I have both. If u want volume, go with the brush. It you want stick straight hair, then use the straightener. My daughters hair is very curly and both stay for days, just depends on your style preference. She has a lot more volume with the brush. Both are straight and soft tho

I wished I would’ve bought the brush one. I didn’t get a silk press look and when I pass the second time it smells like my hair is burning.

I have both, and curly hair. Both work great but the flat iron gives me the straightest look and makes my hair look and feel healthier vs the brush.
