I have a full arm cast, and I tried to put a flannel on like you have because you look so cute in it and it is not working for me. Darn for some reason, it doesn’t not look good on me at all.

Yes- it will get very smelly! Knitting needles can sometimes reach the itchy places. Be careful tho!

wow! I had a sugar cast on from the ER the size of yours. I broke both my wrist bones. One was displaced and was put back in place with IV sedation. The break hurt all the time. they left me in it because they said the hospital did such a good job wrapping it that we may be able to avoid the plate. then they put the actual cast on. I am much more uncomfortable with it. It hurts ,it's got pressure points and sometimes I burn like fire. Don't know if that's normal or not. But I've had it on a couple weeks. just trying to figure out how to relieve the tight pressure pain and burning.

It won’t be tight for long. Swelling will go down and atrophy will start. You at least make that cast look good which ain’t easy! Feel better soon!
