the stamp is a guide. Don't pull the eye or put it that close to your lid. stamp it exactly where you want it to end and then use a liquid linder to connect that tail to your lid

It’s actually pretty user-friendly. Not fool-proof, obviously, but friendly 😂 You’re pulling your eyelid and didn’t pull on your hand skin, so that’s why it’s a fail. Just don’t pull.
