I’m a 38-year-old woman. Over the past year, even though my calories have been around 1200–1300, my weight has gone from 48 kg to 53 kg. My height is 160 cm.
I have severe swelling, especially in my face, arms, and abdomen.
Whenever I try to increase my activity level or exercise, my body goes into a very strange state: I start shaking, I lose my balance, I get brain fog, the swelling gets worse, I develop intense headaches and dizziness, and I get muscle pain.
I’m forced to eat up to around 2000 calories for several days just to feel better again.
Today, I’m exactly in that state again — my body has completely crashed. I feel extremely weak, I can’t even get out of bed, and I’m basically forced to eat just to get my energy back so I can go to work.
I also skip meals very often.
