Fun fact: in the last of us part 2 remastered you can hear zombies groaning and making sounds that resemble human sounds talking begging for help and it mostly happens in Runners! What happens is they cry and beg for help while eating corpses and even say or well mumble “no, no, no” and “stop” and even “please”. The reason they do this is because in this stage of infection they still have a bit of human in them but the fungus makes them eat flesh! Enjoy the fact!
