They are a hundred miles away and have have 1/20th the population of NYC and Philly they are century away from being connected. This is ridiculous

It’s already connected! I use to live in New Braunfels by I-35 and Hwy46 ! You can’t even tell the difference where one city begins or ends when you drive from San Antonio to Austin!

It really isn’t. At all. It’s along the interstate. Growing fast sure. There’s tons of empty acreage. Texas is BIG. and atx and satx are so different they’re more like two different galaxies

Baltimore and Washington DC are only 40 miles apart but still known as 2 different metro statistical areas -in Maryland. Why an 80 mile gap between SA and Austin are different ??
