I charge my phone in the evening when I watch vids so it's 100% when I go to bed, then use an old one for soft music/asmr to sleep. Chargers in each room in the house, in the car, work, my mom's car...

Constantly keeping your battery around 100% is actually very stressful for the battery. The battery is most stressed when it is around 100% or 0%. Ideally you should let your battery range between 20-80%. Adaptive charging is good at night because it charges your phone to 80% and then tops it up to 100% just before your alarm.

My problem is what if my phone dies overnight and then my alarms don’t go off in the morning! That is what gives me my anxiety. And also what if when it’s ready to die I’m somewhere that I can’t charge it.

You need to get a “ANKER Nano Power Bank”. I plug mine in every night and feel the same about a 0% phone. That power bank is tiny and is amazing!

If I had an office job and could just plug my phone in at my desk I probably wouldn’t charge it at night but since I’m constantly mobile I charge it while I sleep

I charge it to 100% just before I go to bed and leave it unplugged overnight. I usually get to work with about 90%, and that lasts me till the next night. I heard somewhere leaving it plugged in at 100% is bad for the phone, and I don't know if that's actually true, but it stuck with me.

We always made our children leave their phones charging in the kitchen overnight so they wouldn't be on them and we did the same. They are adults now and I still do the same.

I charge when it needs to. I also don’t work so it doesn’t matter. But if I’ve got an early hospital appointment I charge overnight ( or make sure it’s 100% before I go out )
