They make compression socks with zippers now and they are so much easier. My dad uses them and he can put them on by himself now.

As an Occupational Therapist love this guys attitude! “You gonna come and dress me everyday?” He’s on the right track! The key is to pull the sock all the way onto the aid until the toe of the sock is stretched flat and snug against the very end. It should look just like it’s already on a foot. Once it’s ready, he should drop the aid to the floor, slide his foot in, and pull the handles up slowly so the sock glides smoothly up his leg. After the sock is on, simply drop one handle to easily slide the aid out from behind the leg. With his confidence he will rock this sock aid no problem!
