its the same as stopping kids from putting up a lemonade stand or selling cupcakes and cookies cuz it takes away from local busineses. complete rubish. get the hell out of the way city municipalities. i used to work for a large mutual insurance company. they didnt have company funded Christmas parties because the insureds got dividends and that wasnt considered a reasonable business expenditure, so emoloyees had bake sales to raise money to oay for our Annual party. when the county biught our building and moved into part of it, they approached our bake sale and told us we couldnt do it any more or we would be fined! their excuse was exactly that. it took business away from local businesses that paid for business licenses etc. this has got to end.
