VALHALLA CALLING (EXTEND VERSION) ⚔️ _ Ragal Ironbull _ Dark Viking Rap
This is how my belly looks all the time. It’s soft. Squishy. It sticks out and rolls when I sit down ✨ This is the part of my body I’ve criticised for not being flat. The part I would suck in when a photo was taken. The area I’ve desperately tried to shrink and shape. It’s the part I didn’t allow to be touched by my partner out of shame. I’ve judged it when it was visible in tight dresses and cried because it was soft, not firm. But not anymore. It’s time to let our stomachs be touched by the hands of our lovers. It’s time we wear the tight-fitting dresses regardless of stomach lines. It’s time we let them be seen in swimsuits. It’s time to stop feeling shame and guilt about our stomachs. Because our tummies have: - Protected us from illnesses and worked to fight off harmful bacteria - Been a resting place for furry friends and supported the heads of heartbroken friends and giggling children - Been a place for our lovers to tenderly hold, playfully kiss, and kindly touch - Housed the foods that have helped mend our broken hearts - Created magic — rearranging our organs to make room to grow a tiny human. One body was capable of creating two or more Women have had soft tummies for centuries. You can see it in cave drawings, renaissance paintings, and Greek sculptures. I know it’s not always easy to embrace a part of yourself that society has deemed unacceptable or shameful. But once you do, you take your power back. You free yourself from a life of self-hatred and body shame. Let go of the shame you carry about your stomach and remember this, round, soft, b-shaped, stretch-marked, cellulite-covered, squishy stomachs are all normal. And there is nothing to be ashamed of. #bodyimage
