@bigbluephotoboat: Happy Holidays from some of our cutest Risso’s Dolphins (Grampus griseus) right off San Diego! Over 300 of these incredible dolphins showed up on a recent trip, and they put on an incredible show. Normally white and covered in scars as adults, juvenile Risso’s dolphins are usually fully gray, and even more playful than the naturally curious adults. Once fully mature, they routinely dive thousands of feet deep in search of squid. As babies, they are adept in adorability!
