@lowpolyshorts: In late 1946, researcher Ivo Kohler strapped on prism goggles that flipped his vision upside down for 124 straight days. Something I didn't include: The initial experience was a nauseating nightmare, but he soon discovered a strange adaptation in his brain: if he simply reached out and touched an object, his vision would instantly flip that specific item right-side up, even while the rest of the room remained inverted. This adaptation grew so strong that by month three, he was successfully skiing down Austrian mountains with perfect coordination. Correction: Ivo Kohler actually rode a bicycle, not a motorcycle. (The motorcycle stunt actually happened in a different Innsbruck experiment where vision was flipped left-to-right!)
