I feel like it’s a right of passage for your first ski boots to fit you horribly. 😅 Mine were always really comfortable but this last year I was really feeling the lack of control stemming from them being too large. So I went to a bootfitter!!! 🥹🫶🏻 They were extremely helpful, answered all my questions, and I left feeling I had a much better understanding of how ski boots should fit!

Looks good! Just remember to check your DIN if you haven’t. Sole length is also used in the equation for DIN so you might have to adjust it a bit :)

hey girlie, are your new boots gripwalk? i cant tell exactly from here but most new boots are. if so, those bindings dont look gripwalk compatible (they should have an adjustable toe height piece if they were). your boots might not be compatible even if they technically "fit"

My boots were 2 sizes too big. I couldn't believe that I was skiing in glaciers, moguls, and in glades with the wrong boots!

Make sure your ski binding are tested once a year for proper release, the springs inside the bindings do die.

Most standard bindings have a about a size to size and a half either way

Think you missed in some cases a reduction in BSL will raise your din settings, not to mention used bindings should always be tested

Slide on Bindings, mostly used for rental ski but please check the binding. I often got ski‘s that look perfect but the binding is horrible 😅

Same thing happened to me. My boots I had been using were 2 sizes too big. I just got resized and bought new boots.

I downsized my boots and now I’m struggling to figure out what to do about my skis 😭 I have 2 sets of skis and the one was already remounted but I have quiver killer mounts in so I’m hoping to just get demo bindings. If anyone recommends specific ones please lmk!

All depends on the binding the “family” “resort” oriented ones are generally like that so people with kids or rental companies can use them.
