The end of The Lost Metal gets me every time, it doesn't matter if I'm reading it or someone else is. I know it's coming, and it still gets me. Sometimes it hits even harder when you know what's coming.

This is never going to help in the moment but in hindsight I always like to think of a quote from a teddy bear not wearing pants “How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.” So even though it sucks right now it’s nice, in a way, to know that it still makes you feel something! That said, hate this chapter! It sucks and feel whatever you’ve got to feel!

As readers, we get to connect things outside character pov. Clubs and Tindwyl both represent so much. Clubs represents a reclamation fo faith, belief. Tindwyl represents a reclamation of purpose and choice. It hurts, them dying. And yet, in it we find new meaning and reclaimed power.
