I was partially raised by a woman I consider a mom, who was sm younger than I realized as a kid. my bio parents were decades older. But the love I was given by someone who wasnt obligated to care for me, changed me for the better. In the moment I didnt understand why she didnt raise me the same way I expected parent to raise me. Bc she was more emotional. She made more mistakes she was open ab acknowledging. She gave me a space to care for her too without it being parentifying. It was in a way that gave me autonomy of care. I felt truly heard around her. Her love wasnt perfect. But her love WAS perfect. Im now 27 and SO many years older than she was when she helped raise me. I promise you, we remember. And what will remain is seeing that regardless of how hard things are, theres someone here for us. Even if it isn't the way we expected. Even if we dont stay in contact w the one that cared for us. We remember the love. Its etched permanently into who we are. What youve done matters. Even if the results arent visible.

Oh my god i didn't recognize you at first because i saw those video's quite a long time ago. I'm so sorry that she's gone. But i promise what you did mattered. You brought a little girl so much happiness, and a bond that a lot of girls wish to have had with their fathers. She will always remember your kindness and how you were there for her. ❤️

really feel it in my soul. from personally experience. 15 to 20. raised two beautiful kids with her and then lost it all. I miss my babies so much.
