So, I weigh 150 lbs+ 55 lbs luggage = 205 lbs total. She’s a good 300 lbs + luggage, approx 350 total. Yet I have to pay for the extra weight. Please tell me how this makes sense.

Yes as a plus size person, I think 2 should be bought but they shouldn't be allowed to over book that seat also. If I pay for 2, I'm getting 2.

You get what you pay for. If you come into my seat I’m going to complain because I paid for a whole seat and now you are taking 1/2 of it. Basically you’re saying you get 1.5 seats for the same price I get .5 seats - that’s unfair privilege in action.

I'm tall but I don't get extra leg space unless I pay for it. and your extra heavy bags, you pay extra for that. you fat or big and want room, you pay extra. and added note, airplanes fly safely bc of.... weight

It is absolutely unreasonable to force another person to share their seat. Having someone squished up against me for hours would be anxiety inducing. I couldn't tolerate it. I feel ill just thinking about it.
