@sergiobambaren: Christmas Reflection – Truly Wish for Christmas As every year, Christmas arrives quietly, like a gentle wave that touches the shore. It does not ask us to rush or to become someone else. However, it’s sad to see that for some Xmas is just a commercial time of the year. Throughout the years, I have learned that the greatest gifts are never wrapped. They live in moments of presence. In the sound of the ocean reminding us that life moves in cycles. And yet, there is nothing wrong with wrapping a gift for another soul. When a gift is given with love, it becomes a language of joy — a simple way of saying I see you, I care, I am grateful you are here. There is something deeply joyful about Christmas when we are surrounded by the people we love. Sharing time, laughter, and stories creates a warmth no gift could ever replace. In these moments, joy multiplies — and love flows naturally, without effort. My true wish for this Christmas is not for more things, but for deeper connection. Connection with nature, with one another, and with the quiet voice within us that always knows the way. May we choose compassion when fear appears. May we listen more than we speak. May we slow down enough to feel gratitude for every breath, every wave, every shared smile. Christmas is not a destination — it is a state of being. It lives in kindness. It lives in forgiveness. It lives in the courage to live from the heart, especially when we are together, sharing joy and love with those closest to us. As we close this year and welcome the next, may we find peace in simplicity, strength in stillness, and joy in connection. May we remember that we are all part of the same ocean, moving together, learning together, and rising together. Finally, I don’t consider myself a religious person. But then again, that’s me. Xmas is most about family, sharing, and yet never forgetting to remember those that will have a lonely Xmas, for many reasons. Invite them to their home.
