Just had a C section on Wednesdays and they left my bandage on as well… they said to wait a week to take it off but I don’t want to I’m scared lol

A hospital nurse took mine off and after it got took off they gave me some special soap to use and I had to was the incision with it for 10 days straight

I’ve never had a bandage on mine maybe they close mine up diffrent mine was like clear tape looking that dissolved on its own

2x C-section momma here . They made me take off my bandage with the first shower each time in the hospital and my strips under that would gradually peel off on its own ..

i took it off at one week one day, I did it on my own I think the hardest thing was seen my body change so much and seen the scare 🥺 give me a bit of an emotional moment.

Csections are so weird. Everyone recovers harder than vaginal but different too! I took mine off the next day after surgery by myself in the shower. So sorry it’s so tender for you! It gets better.

you should definitely call and see what are the next steps both of my C-sections I've had the bandage removed by my doctor I did notice it peeling on its own but I was too scared to take it off on my own luckily my doctor took care of it

With my first, I had a bandage like that and was told to leave it on for 2 weeks! My second, it was a different bandage and they took it off at the hospital but I had to leave steri strips on for 2 weeks!

my doc left mine on til my 6week check up. it never got wet inside or damaged . I think it made me heal so much faster
