this is my closing paragraph- There’s more to my life than a bunch of “sob stories.” Instead, I look at my own life as a series of challenges met through perseverance. My favorite Spanish teacher nicknamed me "Solina," from the Spanish word "Sol” for "sun” as she often remarked on how I shined a light. That helped me regain or rebuild my identity. My experiences have taught me that persevering through pain is powerful.. I’ve learned how we can find ways to use our darkest chapters to illuminate the way for others. My introduction sentence was: “For most of my life, I avoided questions such as, “What do you want to major in college?” or “What do you want to do when you get older?”” And my ending sentence was: “In return, I hope to guide my students to find their own purpose, encouraging and motivating them so they feel challenged and guided, just as he helped me discover mine.” And I basically talked about how my BD impacted my life for the better and my future, wanting to do the same for my students later on. And I find that really inspiring how people can change someone so much that you gain a new perspective and your decisions. The fact that you want to help others feel seen shows how inspiring you are.
