I cried Friday, I’ve been living in poverty since I left my abuser with my 3 kids. I was debating paying my car insurance or getting my kids Christmas presents and was stressing out majorly. Then I got a message that my brother in law bought almost everything off my kids amazon wish list and that my family had come together and sent me $1,000. I broke down sobbing in my car at work.

As a mom, and even before. When I see someone struggling to pay for something and they are $1 or 2 short. If I can spare that. I cover it. We struggle and if we can we help.

When Killers Get Caught :
I got laid off from my job three weeks before I had a surgery that would keep me from working. I still can’t walk. One of my parents from my preschool just bought $200 worth of groceries and brought them to my house. We kept in contact because I love her daughter who is on the spectrum who was really struggling with all of her teachers getting laid off, but I was just overwhelmingly touched. This lady has two kids, and I know she is feeling the same struggle that the rest of us are, but she still made time to get me and my family food because she knew that I wasn’t gonna have an income for a while. They’ve been a lot of really wonderful Christmas angels this year.

As a single mum this hit close to home ….. I honestly can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to go hungry just to make sure my son is good ….. don’t get me wrong I’m happy to do it I just wish I didn’t have to …. And yes I do work before anyone asks .

There ARE good people in this world. We just don’t hear it as much. I always try to do one good deed a day, no matter how small. Someone thanked me for one deed I did and I asked for them to pay it forward.

I work at a gas station and I keep a pocket full of change every shift in case someone is short I add it in. it isnt a lot but I know how it is and if it helps someone thats all that matters to me. it wasnt the store it was the employee.

Onw time when grocery shopping in 2020 I went in with my list and amount that I thought each thing I’d be getting would be and the total in the end and a woman in front of me paid for my groceries. She said she wanted to spread a little cheer in someone’s day when the world seemed so gloomy

I was so stressed one day and just wanted to get my kid and me something on the way home. I cant remember how much I didnt have or if I didnt have the right card on me but the woman compt my meals. I felt so bad and insisted it was okay, but she just gave it to me for free. I couldnt help but cry and thank her. I told her this doesnt normally happen and she said "i can tell, I got you". felt so nice to be seen, even unintentionally.
