As a young Army helicopter pilot, I would come home on leave to Pensacola and see those T-28s doing loops and flying upside down all the while belching that baritone low rpm noise… with green faced young navy cadets in training thinking how much they hate that thing!

I remember when Navy pilots trained in those down in Corpus Christi Tx. Saw them all the time. I always thought it was a cool looking aircraft.
