Gods van helsing was PEAK. Also Teen wolf Peter was strong af. They could have had Derek, Deucalian and Scott being ACTUAL horror stories that made the show more realistic, they consistently pushed back on the transformations. Nothing beats Van Helsing, that is scary. THAT would give anyone nightmares. It's like 8 feet tall of muscle and furry fury. That's scary.

More like partial form werewolves who doesn’t fully embrace the beast on the inside. The shapeshifting part makes sense yes but you could also say they’re just able to partially tap into the inner wolf. Honestly seeing partial forms is cool only when the full transformation is shown. But looking at hairier people with claws and fangs gets boring. They always get whooped on by other monsters.
