The betrayal of them all knowing these things and making fun of her. Nope, end of relationship

They have formed a mini cult, kinda like that situation at Sarah Lawrence College, minus the assault (hopefully!) No one can overcome this kind of dysfunctional group dynamic, hope she ran from them

If you have a close relationship with someone, sure, be honest, but someone who is adjacent to someone you're close to? No. That's crossing a line.

Radically honest…immediately no. I’d rather you lie to me than purposely roast me.

But only the “partner” and only when the friend complains first? They don’t do that to the actual people in the friend group? It sounds like this is a plan for group to end a relationship while engaging in bullying.

Delivery matters. If it’s not constructive or helpful for THEM then it’s just being mean.

The talking about the job too much makes me soooo made. We work a third (or more) of our life, and we’re not supposed to talk about it!?!

Radical honesty can be quite a double-edged sword. While it promotes transparency and authenticity, it can also lead to uncomfortable situations and strained relationships. It's fascinating to see how different people respond to such openness and what impact it has on their interactions. I'd love to hear more about your experiences with it!

even in Germany that wouldn't be ok. we are direct and love honesty. but it give a different between mean and honest and necessary useful critics and bullying. e.g. if a partner or besti say under 4 eyes that you are talking too often about the job and others aren't interested in the details, it can be helpful critique but not in a big group when noone defeat you.

Radical honesty is an actual movement. I don’t find it particularly helpful, but it is not just this group of people.
