Omg sameee, i just found out i have lip dermatitis!! Slap on a thick layer of vaseline & wear lip balms with SPF. Otherwise it can turn into angular cheilitis. My dr gave me steroid cream but i decided to use vaseline first & its been healing alooot.

My lip eczema flares up when the lippie has fragrance in them which is almost every lip product at this point

i have this! for a long time I've been searching on Reddit looking for a similar condition. As for me, it flares up with different lip products (lip balm, lip peptide, velvet tints, matte lipstick) that i used to use for such a time too! I used to treat it with povidine iodine bc it dries the itchyness easily but makes my lips horribly dry. If mine started to itch i just dont rub/friction bc it aggravates it.

rhode never caused it for me but laneige in general whether its the lip balms or lip masks they cause my lips to swell

Mine triggers when lip products has fragrance / stress / havent poop / few days before period / lip licker. So i really avoid fragrance products & try to eat healthy
