@animalwelfareguy: Call came in for a confined stray pup. When I got there it was a little less than confined as half their fence line was on the ground and the pup was extremely avoidant. It showed no interest in treats or food even when I left and viewed from a distance so trapping was not an option. I had to use the pole because anytime I got closer than about 10 feet from the pup it started raising its lip and growling. The dog calmed down a little at the shelter and was able to be moved on a leash but it was extremely shut down. #animalwelfare #animalrescue #dog
