for those of you who are confused: exchange rates change often but when I went to Thailand in 2019 - 29 Thai Baht was equivalent to 1 USD. most meals cost about 1-3 USD, 5 star resorts as little as 12 USD per night. The bulk of spending was a flight. For reference I spent $2,100. for a round trip ticket for 2 that included meals, we had 2 stops one in the states and one in South Korea but the layovers were less than an hour each time.
