nah you are smarter than that. Ypu said you spent 1500 on a car. Assuming you paid it you have a car. If they said 75k. Chances are they are in debt by 75k. You have a car-1500 dollars. They have a car and debt of 75k. Obviously a few people pay outright but the vast majority dont and I dont envy them. I do strive to be the one who pays outright though. ....one day.

I grew up very poor. my first car was $500 and I over paid. by luck of right place right time im a 6 figure earner now and my most recent car i dropped $27k cash on it. i understand lower and middle.

dude I feel you. my first 2 cars were hand me downs from my dad when he upgraded. the first car I bought was $200 and got totaled by a girl jumping across 4 lanes of traffic to turn right in front of me. so I got a $2000 dollar car in 2017 and I'm still driving it to this day

7500 for my yukon 7 years ago and add much as I love the thing I spent way too much on it. I like my 300 explorer better than the yukon. best advice I can give when buying any vehicle is get your a friend who actually knows how to fix cars and take them with you. that way you can know of..I won't say everything but for sure more things that may need to be fixed, cause it's that price for a reason but doesn't mean it's going to be a bad car.

I recently clawed my way to 4k, my first car was 500. I am the richest I may ever be and what I could at most afford to spend was 4k. That's nothing in the car world. Your struggles are valid queen.
