@thelifeofk76: So many memories of this date and can't quite believe it is now 37 years ago. We were visiting my Granny in Ayr when the tragedy happened. We saw it on the news and at the time, didn't know what was about to unfold 😢 As my dad was in the police we had to head home the next day and he was involved first hand, like so many. I know it effected him for years and years after 😢 🫶🏻 A wave of emotions overwhelm me every year as I remember everything about this time. I was only 12. Time stands still for no-one and life continues on to a new day regardless 🤍 My thoughts and love are, like many others today, with those who lost their loved ones 🫶
