I hate when people debate this, if I work and make 100,000 a year and pay 50% in income tax I pay $50,000. say the Duke pays 6% of 100mil/year that's 6mil yeah thats a lot of money but he doesn't pay 50mil like he's supposed to

The thing is that taxes should be progressive and not proportional. If someone that has an income 10x higher than me, he shouldn’t pay the same percentage, he should pay a little more as it still won’t affect his personal economy. At least this is how it works in Italy

Government all over the world should have different tax rates and tax law applicable to wealthy and super wealthy individuals coz those wealthy individuals hide their wealth behind loopholes from really paying taxes!!!!

they can also borrow against their wealth and manipulate the system and never pay tax because on paper they're in debt because they're taking out loans but in reality they're super rich they just don't draw from the money that they have.
