This fails because the "pipes" above the ankle are already full. The Golden Rule of Effleurage (Drainage Massage): Fluid must move toward the heart, and you must clear the "exit" first. The Correct Sequence: 1️⃣ Clear the Exit: Start with light, upward strokes on your upper thigh and knee area. This makes space. 2️⃣ Work in Sections: Move down to the calf. Stroke upward, guiding that fluid into the space you just cleared in the thigh. This is segimental move. 3️⃣ The Final Sweep: Finish with long, gentle strokes from ankle to hip.
