Shanann Watts’ friend, Nickole Atkinson, got worried when Shanann didn’t show up for a prenatal appointment and couldn’t be reached. She called 911, reporting Shanann and her kids missing. Police arrived, found Shanann’s belongings at home, and Chris Watts’ story didn’t add up. This prompted the investigation that eventually led to Chris confessing to mrdering Shanann and their children. He later confessed, and Shanann was found d3ad at home, while the daughters were klled and hidden at his work site.
