Salam Dr. Please, we would sincerely appreciate it if you could make a video to clarify the variations in reference ranges for both fasting and random blood sugar. Some laboratories consider up to 6.4 mmol/L as normal for fasting sugar, while others use 6.0, 5.6, or different values. For random blood sugar, some labs use 10.0 mmol/L as the upper limit, while others use 7.8 mmol/L. If we visit a laboratory that uses 5.6 as the fasting reference range and the result is slightly above that, can we still regard it as normal based on the 6.4 reference used by other labs? it's quite confusing.
