Brought all my wonderful childhood memories to life. Farmer’s daughter from South Wales - firstly reading James Herriot, secondly, I didn’t realise it at the time, but I was incredibly lucky to be brought up on a farm. Our local vet always said if he had the time, he too could have written a few books. He had many an amusing story. Many of which he told after a few glasses of my parents best elderberry wine! This is a brilliant adaptation! My brother and I agree our father (would be vet) was Siegried Fardon, even down to the mustard cardigan! Happy Days! Here’s to the next series!
