@lisaboccuzzi: I cringe when I think about the fact that people used to tell my wife “You don’t understand because you’re not a mom.” 🙄 After our daughter was born, I was waiting for some grand personality shift, but it was immediately evident to me that she’s the same person as she always was. Some women are just natural mothers and caregivers, and had we never had a baby, that would still be true of her.
