Cécred definitely has loosened my texture, making my hair feel and look more 3B when my hair is typically more 3C-4A. Even after a week of wash and go’s and adding more product on top of product, my hair doesn’t become stiff and dry like it usually does. It still has more bounce and movement.

Cécred doesn’t cause protein overload. You using the wrong products is what is causing overload. Learn what your hair needs and choose products for your wash day based on that. I see people using the reconstruction mask every wash day. Why? It says not to! Follow instructions and you’ll be happy.

It definitely loosened my texture. My hair is 3c. My hair has gotten easy to maintain however I can say when I wash my hair I’ve noticed that I have a lot of shedding. When I shampoo the top of my hair is detangled whereas the middle to bottom is all knotted up. Combing it out with the conditioner I shed a lot. Does this happen to anyone else?

Im conflicted because cecred helped my seborrheic dermatitis more than actual medicated treatments BUT my hair started to break really bad from protein overload😔

I think ppl make the mistake of not using the deep conditioner (with warm water for the slip) AFTER the reconstruction mask. It’s a mask, it’s not a deep conditioner. You have to follow up with the deep conditioner AFTER and then the oil. My hairstylist taught me that and lemme tell you… changed my life. I was being cheap and bought the travel size products initially. I used the entire line for the following wash day and did what she told me and I was at Ulta the same day buying the full size.

You should always keep 2-3 shampoos and conditioners in rotation! Hydration, moisture, strengthening! Cecred is definitely a good one to have in rotation!

I will ever go back to anything else… Beyonce changed my life… my hair definitely feels hydrated and strong…. The clarifying shampoo is literally medicine to my scalp and I don’t have to wash my hair every week…

Definitely agree with some of your sentiments! I would recommend to everyone to switch your main wash routine from CECRED to maybe another hydrating line (matrix, amika or joico)
