I hate going and pay every month. I feel embarrassed bc I can’t lift much at all and feel like an old lady. Don’t really wanna pay for a trainer but avoid it and wasting $. I don’t know the answer

i was at the gym for the 3rd time the other day and soo many people were on their phones in between their sets for a long time (>5 min). is that normal? seems very anti gym etiquette to me

I love that my planet fitness has all the little maintenance things written out near all the machines✨ kept me more focused rather than scanning the entire gym to see what everyone else was doing to make sure i was doing it right 😅 im still anxious going in, I only recently (this week) broke free of my treadmill jail to try out some of the other machines

How does this work with multiple sets? I’ve heard you should have 2-3 min between sets so do you just sit at the machine during your wait?

my university has a free gym we are able to use and I always wipe down where my hands were only because it gets sweaty. I just do it to so that way if anyone uses it thay don't have to touch the sweat

If the gym doesn't have lockers etc, should you change your shoes in the car park, or when you're actually in the gym itself? I also haven't seen any paper towels at the gym, or a bin to put stuff in 😅
