There’s something about Chicago. When the Cubs won the World Series everyone in the country was a Cubs fan. When the Bulls were dropping 3 peats the whole world became Bulls fans. IF YOU DON’T KNOW, NOW YOU KNOW. ITS CHICAGO!

I moved to Chicago 3 years ago unaffiliated with any team and started dating a bears fan in 2024. I can confirm: Bears fans are amazingly loyal, nice, and welcoming people. The bears community is the best. Now I’m ride or die for da bears.

We win people over with kindness most of the time because we can separate hating a team from their fan base. If you come to town to watch your team play ours and act respectful, we'll treat you with respect also.

I mean I’m more cranky the packers were there then the lions …life long cubs fan and low key bears fan (LFG Loveland! And Williams is finally getting his flowers) But the Packers shouldn’t have been there and I’m glad they got called for a false start and couldn’t play it off as a time out this time (like Thanksgiving) 😉

YES. this explains it!! I’m a diehard lifelong eagles fan. lived in chicago for 5 years now, and i have to be honest im having a hard time not being so happy/excited for them and the city for this W! (but also go birds and will be rooting against the bears next week, with all due respect, if we win tomorrow💚)

I can tell you it doesn't work the other way tbh. Went to GB for a game. Packers fans were super nice to us. We tail gated together had a great time. Really nice people. Still....you will NEVER catch me rooting for them EVER

Yes. We are really nice now, I have a best friend who’s a Packers fan and we get along on everything but I’m always careful to be quiet during football time because she’s a little bit crazy.
