Why would you take the nail out? It will let all the air out and then you have a completely flat tire? And then driving the car with a flat could ruin the sidewalls of the tire. Nothing about what you’re doing is logical.

i would’ve left that nail. it’s too close to the sidewall that plugging it risks a blow out. no wonder the tire place wouldn’t plug it.

That’s pretty close to the side wall, I would get a new tire to be safe as patches don’t hold well near the side and the worst would be being stuck somewhere dangerous with a flat but good for you for being independent for real 💪🏼

ya in order to get that out you have to jack the car up and take the tire off. pull it out and then plug it…. never seen anyone do it like that 😂
