What is the CPA doing besides your tax return? Are they paying your bills, doing the business accounting, making sure you collect money you earn, etc?

That’s pretty cheap actually considering how much money you bring in. My yoga studio did $65,000 a month and mine was almost 1800 a month.

that seems too high! but what are you getting for that fee? tax services is one thing (you need a tax accountant to do it properly) book keeping services is what you need all year long to keep your income and expenses organized for the tax accountant. 2 different services 2 different professionals.

Depends on the service. Are they gathering and Paying your quarterly taxes? Is book keeping part of that service? Are they teaching you your business expenses. I have client that pays 150 a month but they handle payroll for 3 extra clients. Depends on your services you get beyond just taxes.

You ARE being taken advantage of. Your income determines your frequency of filing. You shouldn't have to file more than one time per quarter.

Seems pretty fair if you make the income I am assuming you produce. $9,600 a year is probably significantly less than you would pay without a good accountant.
