100 percent. Talking about Marxism and theory gets you nowhere with most. Just talk about how Australia doesn't profit from fossil fuels, when other countries are rich because of mineral wealth. Talk about how it sucks paying 100 bucks to go to the doctor and it's not great when you have to choose wether to seek medical help or not. Talk about housing and rental costs. Get them to agree that the world as it is has a lot of faults and things that can be improved.

No. The biggest set back is that class consciousness is a crock of sh**. Socialism and communism are planned idealism states….capitalism is not. It’s the natural behaviour of our species…and you cannot plan it out…it isn’t possible…because it derives from our paradoxical competitive-cooperative instincts. Socialism and communism always fail because they always revert to capitalism. There are no examples of persistent socialist or communist states.
